The View from Boddington Hill

I’d like to show you the view

From boddington hill.

It’s nothing too spectacular,

But still, it’s something far away;

I hear you’ve never been.

No great town or distillery

Can mark the spot

Where you’d fall off boddington hill—

But I’d like to push you off anyway;

It’d make it worth the trip.

No mires or bogs squat below

The foot of boddington hill,

So I’d carry you back to the top

And plant you at the summit,

Where none bother to hike;

For there’s nothing to see

From the top of boddington hill.
